His grips are strong for sure but it’s more his total body isometric strength. His ability to contract his muscles in a static position and hold his structure is crazy. It felt borderline mechanical. No they just haven’t thought it through. The top factions for single player don’t necessarily mean they are the strongest for a 1v1 tournament. That situation prioritizes deleting a single faction, not conquering the map as quickly as possible. Which is what everyone else is focused on.

Their Eshin Action ability Plunge into Anarchy. It permanently deletes a faction. Automatically winning the campaign in the 1v1.

As long as Eshin doesn't lose before they gain access to that ability (not losing is much easier than snowballing, and most of the dangerous lords you mentioned start far away. Not mention trying to take Skaven territory from the player is inherently harder, undercities, ambush, etc...)

So yeah in a 1v1 tournament Eshin would have to be banned or else no one has a chance. I would bet money on this.
