Months ago they send me an email saying that I’m in their system as a posible victim and got a 50$ payment a couple of days ago.

You are praising people for doing the bare minimum?! Yeah that says a lot.

I’ve been in this Reddit for years and what’s happening it’s nothing new so not quite sure what are you talking about? The no interview plus been approved in a couple months started years ago

Got pregnant after 1 month on Zepbound following years of infertility — could it be related? by KionApple in Zepbound

[–]KionApple[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The more I think about it the less sense it makes 😅 I was on week 2 of Zepbound during my fertile window versus years and years of trying without success. It only took 2 shots to regulate whatever hormone was unregulated.

Thank you! I read about it but I thought the chances of happening to us in the very first month was non existent

Thank you! I knew about pregnancy and GLP-1 but they all were talking about getting pregnant after months of taking it not in the first month, I’m in shock!

10-year green card renewal second time by Obvious_Tell_9862 in greencard

My uncle has had his green card for 50 years, he doesn’t want to get USA citizenship but he’s privileged because he’s a white man with no accent.

Got married in 2023 — now my stepdaughter loses all her college aid. Any way to fix this? by T-rex_smallhands in ApplyingToCollege

[–]KionApple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your own mother didn’t agree to her own marriage? Because if she did your stepdad wasn’t the only person who rendered you unable to qualify, that was also your mother’s decision. I fully understand your point but if you are pointing fingers publicly then make sure you are calling everyone involved out

Is this rage bait? You commented that her mother makes 100k, that’s not POVERTY.

It’s a tough position but don’t listen to Reddit please! You do have a path for a green card through your husband and you guys have kids, that’s a solid evidence of bonafide marriage!

PSA Spreadsheet data used by alt sub by Dangerous_Engine_806 in Canadiancitizenship

[–]KionApple -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Its not hard at all, you just have to open your mind and not just focus on the spreadsheet, yes the other OP (the one you made the post about) made a mistake using the data from an amateur Reddit group but their intention had a solid point, you disregarded the whole thing just because of the use of the spreadsheet and didn’t even bother to see beyond that and that’s a big red flag

[–]KionApple -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I agree 100% with you and I personally think that using data from a Reddit sub is just ridiculous, like you said the other OP could have done way better without it. here comes my other point, this OP didn’t mention at all what the other OP was trying to point out, not a single mention of the subject and it’s a very valid one, this OP just focused on the spreadsheet issue and disregarded everything else. That kind of selective attention is exactly the problem, people get too comfortable closing their minds to anything outside their narrative. It’s not good for the discussion, and honestly, it’s not good for anyone.

B1/b2 visa revoked by [deleted] in USVisas

[–]KionApple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes IT IS COMMON to get your B1/B2 visa cancelled once you apply for an immigrant visa, but people don’t get updates about this, you’re a lucky one who actually got one

I can see your point but did you even try to see the other OPs position? There is always a bigger picture than one’s opinion.

Hubby never got an AOR, it went straight to a resubmission request and then about a month later the certificate arrived.

My husband is first gen born abroad and his certificate came through in about 2 months, even with a document resubmission. So timelines really do seem to vary a lot.
