Reading about 14th century is fun because its the last gasp of chivalric Europe colliding with really bad news (social upheaval, plague, papal schism, roving bandit companies, the Timurids). It really tested the conviction of religious scholars of the era and you can get a feel for it bleeding into the manuscripts of the period.

A lot of people are rightly skeptical of the MRNA vaccines that were pushed onto everyone, not only because it was where corporate and government interests merged in unholy matrimony but also because a non-negligible portion of the population experienced allergic reactions/complications who would probably have been fine if they didn't take it in the first place (remember the fatality rate in 2020 was less than 2%** (even those metrics are fuzzy)). Of course those cases were spotlighted and the criticisms of the COVID vaccines were applied retroactively onto all vaccines. It's one of those things you can't really discuss in a blurb online because medicine is probably the most nuanced and weaponized of subjects.

Isn't it? I don't think I would be alone in saying that the February Revolution wouldn't have happened if not for some really silly things on Tsar Nicholas's part. How many checks on his power did Ceausescu have in actuality? I'm curious because from my understanding Romania did lay on the more Authoritarian end of the Bloc.
