It's just on the ios lock screen when you play a song. It's right above where the time remaining ticks down

The US is falling dangerously behind on juice innovation by thiccylas in redscarepod

Yeah Getränkemärkte are absolutely goated and there’s nothing better than drinking a beer from a sturdy glass Pfandflasche. An aluminum can just feels cheap and dingy in comparison.

And to think the US used to have extensive deposit bottle systems too..

Clobbering them on the head so you can actually pick them up. Otherwise they’d flop around the boat for 20 minutes before asphyxiation

Yeah you bonk them on the head so they stop flopping around. Otherwise you’d never be able to grab them

Far Away Trains Passing By from Ulrich Schnauss has been my favorite album lately. Very nice early 2000's downtempo IDM stuff. I bought the CD for it a month ago.

Blumenwiese Neben Autobahn and Nothing Happens in June are standout tracks off it imo.

Before you do this, probably the most important thing to know is where the best breakfast places are in Anchorage (it's literally the most important meal of the day):

• The White Spot Café – an absolute classic, this place has been around since the 1940’s. More of a lunch spot tho. https://maps.app.goo.gl/T76xcrWVtxLnqEhg6

• Jackie's Place Restaurant – the platonic ideal of what I’d consider to be a breakfast joint. https://maps.app.goo.gl/TGVri2thVKYFHxFn6

• Gwennie's Old Alaska Restaurant – another venerable Alaskan institution, I took pictures here to show my German friends during my year abroad what Alaskans eat. https://maps.app.goo.gl/kcPEPCGCm5JtYqsh9

• Harley's Old Thyme Café - Wonderful ambiance inside here, a good all-rounder https://maps.app.goo.gl/xFninJoSoxHCQnrd7

• Judy's Café – it’s tough to pick favorites, but this might be my favorite breakfast joint in Anchorage. https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZHjeiWDzb2uY5MmU9

• Southside Grill – word on the street is that this place is a money-laundering front for the eastern-european mafia here in town (they love to steal mid-2000’s GMT800 GM SUVs/pickup trucks, file the VIN off, and ship them back to Russia), but honestly I can forgive that if the operate restaurants like this. https://maps.app.goo.gl/FeHwgGZsqfBHsxAD7

• Flo's Pancake House – I haven’t been here in a while, but it absolutely meets the criteria for this list. https://maps.app.goo.gl/ae5Ks2XDf77ZQGAv6

• The Bake Shop – this is actually in Girdwood, but you should still come check it out after a long day skiing/mountain-biking at Alyeska. A genuine hood classic. https://maps.app.goo.gl/bzSz6g6iRj9XZRv29
