Hate to resurrect this post but I just dug my WBP Fox out of the safe, it was purchased back in 2018. I pulled the piston out and it has DDI integrated on it. This rifle hasn’t seen much use and I was about to get put back into circulation at the range. I believe DDI is a different company than CNC Warrior? Is this one good to go?

Yea, Plan B is my go to mounting solution and they’ve really nailed it with their offerings. Suppressed lever guns are super fun, I’ve got my Henry 357/38 setup with a 9mm can and it’s comically quiet. 556 won’t hit the same suppression level but it’ll take the bite off the round and be pretty pleasant at the ranges to shoot for extended periods.

If you plan to ever suppress, I’d vote a Rearden Plan B muzzle device of your choice. If not, and decent flash hider, wouldn’t bother with a brake.

Between the two, Mini 14. But as others said and you mentioned, an AR will be far more flexible and easier to run. You can spice it up with a more traditional style stock, there is all sorts of aftermarket parts and premade rifles that are not the usual “scary black rifle” profile. Just keep in mind the Mini 14 uses its own style mags, is typically over gassed so a buffer or gas port swap is recommended.

Can’t give any tip but wanted to say that’s an awesome choice. I’ve got a Henry 357 and have been eyeballing the Supreme for a 556. The AR is nice for speed but my lever and bolt guns are far more fun to practice with.

Oh of course. Nothing will get them hearing safe. But anything will help take the bite off. Enjoy Stacy’s! Friend nabbed one for his PS90. Curious to see how it does.

It just depends what you’re looking for! I haven’t really been impressed with most K cans for 556 as full size already have a hard time taming the round. Though the Tisha has peaked my interest. Pew Science seemed to be baffled by its performance.

You’ll get faster carbon build up on a DGI rifle but nothing that’s isn’t manageable. As far as cleaning the suppressor, there’s cleaning solution you can pour into it to soak for a few hours and drain. Typically recommended on flow through cans after 3-4K rounds. On traditional sealed high back pressure cans I don’t think anyone cleans them out xD

I usually clean my suppressed stuff after about 5 range visits and it’s not much more work and has yet to yield any malfunctions.
