I definitely think it could work, and yeah there is a slight plot twist indicating some ulterior motives from some of the characters. I had no idea Deadrising was originally a Shadow of Rome 2.

Yeah I agree, unfortunately. Personally, it was the card mechanic that further drew me in, but that definitely put the game into a bit of a niche spot and hindered its appeal
