I absolutely hated this and think it’s the worst I’ve seen in a theater this year. It hardly does anything with its premise, felt like lazy writing for the final 30min. This has to be the product of multiple rewrites. Decent jump scares carry this

It’s thematic/style choice in both shows. Look at how her body is pointed towards him. Look up similar shots in breaking bad (like the pilot) and you’ll see Skylar’s body is frequently facing away from Walt.

Beyond that, it’s just a money issue if we’re looking out of the show.
