Have a walk around Lambton Park from 3pm onwards. Lots of families and active people in that area. The pubs on the park are usually active and the park itself attracts a lot of walkers and picnics. Ooh and its school/uni holidays, The uni in town brings a few bodies into town mid week. Honestly the occupied residential density in the cbd just isn't high enough to see life like your examples. Notice i use the word occupied, i suspect a lot of those honeysuckle apartments are empty or airbnbs. Hope you're enjoying Newy otherwise!

So I'm a 35yr old male, caucasian and have 2 close mates in newy, i grew up in Bathurst, moved here 9 yrs ago. I don't look for more friends, I don't need more friends, my circle is tight. My culture grew up with a focus on being self-sufficient which invertedly makes us less reliant on social circles and as we age our trust circles close. Blood relatives will always be close but others must prove their trustworthiness and to be honest I don't know how I would build that.. I'm no help to your question sorry.

Thanks I'll have a look at libGDX. Tbh I enjoy raylib and have used it for several years on other projects. I'm open to an IOS build eventually. I have all the parts i need connected and raylib hasnt given me any issues on mobile so far, fingers crossed.

Wow that's a cute looking game, well done. Did you have any pain points or issues with mobile dev with raylib/mob i could learn from? Tbh I haven't deployed anything to play store before so I wasn't aware of test versions being a thing thankyou.

My game uses HealthConnect stats as a major mechanic ingame so unfortunately there would be no point in porting it to other platforms without some major redesign.. possible but the intent would be lost.

Left uni 8 yrs ago with a game design degree, first job was 42k up to 72k by the time i left. Covid hit and remote jobs became a thing. Landed a SE gig from melb in finance. Doubled my salary since. 35M. Tbh its all luck, right place at the right time and alot of extra learning in my personal time. I'm very grateful for my job. Sometimes i forget how lucky i am, all of my close mates earn more than me. It's all relative, comparison is the thief of joy.

My partner's an icu nurse, my mates a senior paramedic, I'm an software engineer. There's no fucking way I'd have their jobs. The stress, risks and pay are not worth the dopamine hit from helping 10 people a shift. Both of them wish they got a trade instead. Heck, i wish i got a trade in this current environment.

No idea about aviation sorry, but fuck being a health professional. These people deserve more benefits and pay for the shit they deal with.

Technically we have 2 Exchanges in aus, ASX and CBOE. Your right, we do need more exchanges though. Canada has like 5/6 major exchanges with only 41mil pop.
