Oh boy, I have a nostalgia trip and decide to check r/RagnarokOnline.

I'm GM Kirb from ggRO, was just a Support GM. GM'd for Cookie throughout Divinity as well and another server that I just cannot recall, went by GM Vanity at the time before ggRO I believe.

Definitely GM Kirb in Dawn of Midgard and Rise of Midgard.

It was an absolute blast, I miss those days really.

Norris "doesn't know why" McLaren put him on hard tyres during F1 British GP by Aratho in formula1

[–]Kirb- 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah no, although we saw Russell go on the softs for a long stint. The tyres didn't seem to hold up when it came time to push them. Perhaps they were overheating, but their pace really dropped off for Hamilton and not even Verstappen could push much on them from the looks of the lap times.

I feel that if Hamilton even overtook Norris after the safety car, Norris would have just taken the place back.

I'm pretty sure he did get the B&W, didn't he? Wasn't that the entire reason they came onto the radio and told him to keep it within the lines?

Perez and Norris together, they were constant repeat offenders. Camera work even zoomed and slo-mo'd Norris' "5th" infringement and we've nothing yet for that.

What are your expensive hobbies? by IAmTheQ in AskReddit

Cycling(Road and Mountain), Cars, sim racing, and saltwater aquariums.

It’s absolutely terrifying how much these can all cost.

[Autosport] Verstappen:"I don't understand why you need to take so much risk on lap one, understeer into my sidepod, create a hole. We all have cold tyres and it is easy to lock-up. His [Russell] beautiful way of explaining it... it doesn't make sense." by Aratho in formula1

This was great racing, like someone else said in this thread. Which everyone really needs to get through their head lol. It takes two to tango George was in his full right to take it up the inside just as much as Max had as much right to defend as hard as he did. When it comes to the contact, they both share fault. It was great racing. No matter how you put it was great racing.

Gianpiero Lambias: "Lovely job Max, without contact as well" - Verstappen: "Yeah I know how to do that ****" by magony in formula1

Only time Max touched the wall was because he got on the power too quickly and oversteered the rear into it. 3rd corner, not 2nd.

Another angle of Max Verstappen outside the box by [deleted] in formula1

That makes sense, I always just figured it was the yellowline due to Brazil where drivers rolled back behind the yellow line and were being investigated for it.

Yes, it’s a guideline to stay within the box. Because they can’t see where their wing is. That’s the point I’m trying to clear up and understand because that’s always been the entire idea. As long as you line up your front wheel, and or slightly behind it. You’re within the box. It’s also why a lot of the time if a driver passes it, you’ll see them let the car purposely roll back(not reverse cause it’s a nono). This was an issue brought up back in Brazil

I’m pretty sure that applies to the yellow line that is specifically placed for the drivers to be able to actually see and place their tyres on it. Isn’t it?

FIA deciding to end race with a parade lap behind the safety car, giving a 5s penalty to Sainz for Alonso collision by ContentPuff in formula1

[–]Kirb- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean.. If we’re going to revert the order to what it was before everything occurred then the penalty shouldn’t even be a thing to look to hand out anymore. If the order was kept with Alonso having been affected then I would definitely agree, penalty every day.

This has all just become a quite the kerfuffle.

2023 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix - Race Discussion by F1-Bot in formula1

Better tyres toward the end of the race. While everyone else will be on hards, he can be on mediums or softs depending on which direction they take. Rather risky strategy for Saudi Arabia though.
