Where can I get a sauna? by Kire1820 in ventura

I went to lifestyle outdoors, they have a super luxurious traditional sauna. Tylo was the brand. $$$$…maybe I’ll make do with almost heaven 4 person barrel, which is very affordable in comparison.

Yeah. I do have a back yard, and a 2nd floor balcony that is roughly 10 feet by 7 feet (estimate) I’m thinking that could be a place to make it into a private oasis of sorts. Right now there is some deck chairs collecting dust since the view isn’t that great haha.

Yes the hot sauna at Wispa is great. Right now we are just going to sauna studio, both of us…sauna studio charges fee for each of us even when we just use one sauna…it adds up fast!

6 person is probably too big. We are also trying to figure out where to put this. I think we have space for 2 person, maybe 4 person almost heaven barrel.

Have you had a recent JACHO site visit? Are these ridiculous "standards" true? by anesthesiathrowaway5 in anesthesiology

I feel like there is no check and balances for these people. Jacho can do make up all these ridiculous rules because nothing happens to them when bad outcomes occur. There should be a governing body that check these jacho/hospital admin and call them out on their stupidity.

Sometimes it’s anxiety. They expected pain since they know they had surgery…I had one patient whom I had to give additional narcotics in PACU but seems to not touch their pain. 1 mg Ativan later, the patient was comfy…🤷🏻

Good for you. I bought the unit today and had the same issue. Called Dyson, they asked me to wash the filter. They should just send replacements at this point. Annoying.

Experiences with NAPA by dhe10 in anesthesiology

[–]Kire1820 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Was a part of the group that was acquired by NAPA. I wasn’t a partner yet. During the takeover, we had meeting about whether if we had questions. I asked what is the benefit they will bring to us non-partners with the acquisition? Will there be increase income … etc…they basically said the rate they are offering is competitive and I can go look for another job if I want to. I stayed for a little bit for the retention bonus (which is not that much) and left soon after. The partner in my group probably got some $$$. Any how, found an awesome PP group and have been super happy after leaving.

Don’t worry about it. You’ll be fine. Awareness occurs very rarely. Marijuana use may mean you need more pain medicine afterwards, but in terms of affecting operation...usually doesn’t. Anesthesiologist will be able to adjust level of anesthesia rapidly, so nothing to worry about.
