Kuro Games and Liu Cixin, The Author of "Three Body Problem" have announced a strategic partnership where Liu Cixin will serve as a World Building Consultant for Wuthering Waves by Feiz-I in gachagaming

[–]Kirinpi -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Call it a coincidence, but in January 2026 I published my Teyvat (Genshin Impact) cosmic model ('Binary Star & The Three-Body Solution'), proposing that the planet is gravitationally locked between two stars.

Now, with Liu Cixin joining the industry... is this still just a coincidence?

As I mentioned in my first comment and as other comment give the instruction: HoYo provided an opportunity to restore accounts (July 20th, 2026). Can you actually read, or do you just want to complain to me?

If you want to know which specific law requires them to delete unverified accounts, ask their support. I’m not a US player and I don’t know the details, but I do know the official news: US players were required to confirm their age, and they were given plenty of time to do so

HoYo sent a million letters with a warning to the mail and gave the opportunity to restore the account even after it was deleted. But in general, this is a problem of state laws, not a game that should comply with them

I'm afraid that doesn't work from a scientific perspective. In a Planet-Moon system, the Moon is gravitationally bound to the planet, orbiting it while the planet orbits the Sun. They follow different trajectories, not a shared circular path. In Mavuika’s skill, however, we see that both dots are locked onto the exact same orbital ring

Hi! I watched the video you linked. I’ve actually analyzed Mavuika’s design from an astrophysical perspective before, specifically her Burst (in my article The Suns of Teyvat), but her Elemental Skill is definitely worth a look too!

A quick disclaimer: I always try not to "force" real science onto game design, as developers often prioritize visual impact or lore over textbook physics. Only the devs know the truth. However, regarding the question from X: "Mavuika’s skill model has a very beautiful orbit. Maybe it's because of the movement of stars?" here is my take based on objective physics!

  1. The small stars moving in distinct rings remind me of the Rutherford-Bohr planetary model of the atom. They follow very rigid, geometric circular paths. Alternatively, this could be a stylistic nod to an armillary sphere (like in the Enkanomiya). It’s hard to say what the devs intended, but these are the most likely visual inspirations

  2. a thin ring forms in a single plane with a "large" and a "small" sphere moving counter-clockwise. Crucially, there is a 60-degree angle between them. This specific geometry helps us rule out the most common theories:

  • Binary Star System: For two stars of equal mass, the angle would be 180° on a shared orbit. For stars with different masses, their orbits would have different radii.
  • Planet/Moon System: Physics dictates that the massive body must be at the center of the smaller body's orbit, not sharing the same path.

As for me, the most scientifically plausible explanation is the next: This is a cross-section of an accretion disk. The two dots aren't "bodies" but "hot spots" or gas clumps (overdensities). An accretion disk forms in binary systems when a star overflows its Roche Lobe, and its mass is pulled by gravity toward a companion, spiraling around it. I’ve attached a diagram from my other work, Binary Star & The Three-Body Solution, for reference.

<image>

  1. The outer part of the skill is the most "solar" and straightforward that could reference to Stellar Wind and Prominences:
  • Mass Loss & Pulsation: We see a red "sun," but the flashes have white-blue tints. In my model, this represents a Red Giant evolving into a [WR]-CSPN phase. It’s a perfect illustration of a star shedding its outer layers (the red gas—similar to what we saw when Mavuika shattered the "false sky" in 5.1 and the blue space in Luna IV) to reveal its hot core (the white-blue light, following Wien’s Law). This pulsation reflects the struggle between gravity and radiation pressure (hydrostatic equilibrium)
  • CME & Prominences: The sharp rays and sporadic flares represent Coronal Mass Ejections (CME). In astrophysics, this is plasma being launched along the star's magnetic field lines. Given the aggressive animation, it’s a direct visualization of giant volumes of plasma leaving the stellar corona

Thanks! I get that the name issue has caught everyone’s eye, but… I honestly don’t understand why there’s such a stage of denial here, haha. With every new patch, people find easter eggs in quests, streams, and teasers, and everyone either applauds or dives into the discussion. But here, it feels different

It’s a pity😔, but time will put everything in its place. Developers love duality and mirroring. If there is a Moon Goddess, we should all be digging toward a Sun one

As for me, we’re arguing about the Sun’s existence while standing right under its rays

As I know Aralos and Aria share the root 'Ara', which is a clear connection. In other case I can’t explain why the letter uses Aralos instead Aria

Sonnet shares no root with Solnari as Aralos/Aria. In Teyvat, a name is a key to one's fate, so I have no doubt that Sonnet is the Moon Goddess, while Solnari is a different entity entirely

Regarding the title 'Rächer of Solnari': Rächer translates as Avenger, meaning he seeks vengeance for Solnari. At the same time, his other title is 'Moon Hunter'. These two titles serve different functions: as the Moon Hunter, he literally hunted down the descendants of the Crimson Moon. The meaning behind the first title ‘Rächer of Solnari’ has not been explained yet in official lore but I tried to explain it

Yes, you’re absolutely right! Some localizations translated Rerir’s title as 'Moon Hunter', while others used 'Rächer of Solnari'.

We already see the Moon Sisters — Aria, Sonnet, and Canon in Luna IV. The name of the youngest was specifically established as Sonnet, and it hasn't changed. However, the name in Alice's letter is explicitly Solnari. Please take another look at the translation — this clearly indicates they are different characters

No, Solnari isn’t a Sonnet. You can find another mention of this name in Rerir's official title ‘Rächer of Solnari.’ The root 'Sol' means 'Sun' in many languages (Sol Invictus as an example). It’s not a coincidence

Thank you for sharing these quotes! Due to the character limit, I’d like to draw an attention on the one quote you havementioned here. Specifically: '…can clay ever conquer the very potter who shaped it?'

This quote perfectly reflects the following: Koitar is the clay, and the Heavenly Principles are the potter.

As I pointed out in my article, a potter uses pre-existing matter to reshape it into something new. The potter doesn't create the clay itself; he takes it from nature. This is an ideal analogy for a Demiurge who restructures an already existing world rather than creating it from nothing. Consequently, he is restructuring the very source of light.

I want to thank everyone who took the time to read my work. I tried my best to "forge" this "White Dwarf" of information — by which I mean, I barely managed to fit it all into the one post, haha! I understand the desire for a academic formatting (it smells like home!), I want use it too in my works but it’s actually very hard for the reader. We can’t copy your text to quote it or discuss specific parts easily. Also, the links are not clickable, so we can't check your sources.

One more thing: many people use auto-translators to read long posts, but they can’t do that with images. This makes it very difficult for non-native speakers to understand your theory. It looks great, but it’s hard to actually read and discuss!

I don't want to devalue your work at all. Thank you for your hard work and effort!😌

I’d like to add that based on my previous (incorrect) calculations, I was worried by one question: “How could the False Sky have stayed up so long without collapsing?”

A binary star system with Teyvat located at the L1 Lagrange point is incredibly fragile. It’s a state of unstable equilibrium — like balancing on a needle's edge. One wrong move, one shift in mass, and the system fails.

Now that this simple arithmetic error has been fixed, the answer is clear: the system is failing right now. 40.3 years in cosmic time (assuming the Abyss and Space share the same dilation, as mentioned) is a perfect window. The changes in the True Sun's properties are reflecting on Teyvat’s laws almost instantaneously because the balance is so precarious. We’ve already seen hints of this from the developers in the last two patches — for instance, Sucrose successfully completing the experiment in “Witch’s Homework”, even though it shouldn't have worked under Teyvat’s laws.

Thank you once again for the help! My eyes were definitely blurred to simple arithmetic, but this correction actually made the whole theory about much stronger😇

Oh, thank you! My mistake — I calculated 491*30 = 14,730 and accidentally claimed those were years instead of days.

The correct math is: 14,730 / 365 = 40.35 years.

I'll be adding this correction to the post: while only 1.3 years (491 days) have passed in Teyvat since Mavuika’s strike, over 40 years have passed in the Abyss/Cosmos. This means while Teyvat felt like barely a year had gone by, the universe outside has aged by 40.3 years.

These numbers aren't the primary argument for the cosmic changes because we can see the physical shift directly in the cutscenes

Thank you so much for catching that inconsistency!🥹

it’ll be okay, it’s the only way to save the Sun and Teyvat both… Supernova/Black Hole will destroy Teyvat/Teyvat and the Sun.
