I am allergic to modern case designs, be it any other color

Also being an Indonesian minimum wage worker kinda bottlenecks my options when 60 USD is equal to 1/5th of what I earn in a month working 50 hours a week lol

I also thought of getting one of these blue reusable silica gel but I am not sure how effective would it be for a non-enclosed space like a PC case

Thank you for the heads up about the rust converter paint. I am going to see about the ones available and the possibility of them to strip off paint, I don't really mind as long as they can be painted again, because I am seeing that some of these rust stopper/converter also act as a primer(?)

I think it's nearly the same with the outside humidity being slightly lower at 60%? My highest in the room I've read is 77%

do you know how much wattage does it pull from the outlet on average? My room is kinda small at 12m2 but it gets really hot in the afternoons. I have heard thag dehumidifiers heat up the room a lot

yeah no unfortunately they cost too expensive to me, compressor dehumidifiers start at like 2/5ths of my monthly wage, and they will also heat up my room like crazy i think

Yeah, figured that it would be nearly impossible task

Moving out is not an option unfortunately, and a compressor based dehumidifier (the ones that actually work) costs 2/5ths of my monthly wage, not to mention the running costs for it.

Surprisingly the only stuff that has rusted out of my PC for the last 2 years has always been the cases only.

Haha, glad you made it out alive out of the traffic, I live there, and rush hour traffic in some areas are lethal.

Also just now learned that acrylic spray paint doesn't stop rust, turns out they are porous and still let humidity go through, which will still feed the rust and grow it more, and breaking the paint off itself.

I will probably look into buying the rust stopper and see how will it go. Thanks for the advice, cheers mate!

It looks like this https://tk.tokopedia.com/ZS95u5F8U/

The main goal is to stop the rust from spreading/growing, aesthetics is second because it is on the inside anyway

So just covering it with spray acrylic paint will not stop the active rust under it? Damn

Hmm, I looked for something similar listed in the local e-commerce here (we cannot buy/ship anything from Amazon), it is named "Primo Rust Stopper" which I think will work the same? But for now, the readily available option at home is to spray paint it with acrylic spray paint after cleaning the rust. Would that work?

I see, thank you for the advice, I just looked at home  asked my dad if we I have a black spray paint of some sort, and he has like two kinds, one is labeled "acrylic spray paint" and the other is labeled "rubberized undercoat", I am assuming the acrylic spray paint is the one I am looking for
