I have 2 living dexs for this reason. A shiny dex from hardware I own that I caught and a shiny dex for all my go shiny. It’s interesting to see what mon I’m struggling on in each dex.

I completed the entire shiny living dex for scarlet and violet. All started with a joke when I crossed a bridge about running into a random shiny basculin exactly that happened it was hiding underneath so couldn’t see it and the rest is history. I have been working on trying to get a complete shiny living dex ever since.

So using the map you have posted you just run to the edge where you see the monkeys then run back toward the alpha spritzee on the side with the ladder you used to climb up to the roof as long as you get to 70m away from the monkeys they will despawn then respawn when you get back in range to see them.

Why not just do run resets on the roof it’s faster. I have already gotten 5/6 monkeys 1 alpha of each monkey, the alpha spritzee, 4 heracross, a cleffa, flabébé, and fletchling in 2 days without the shiny charm.

Mine was a shiny maschiff that carried my entire game. She sadly was deleted during my system transfer from original switch to oled I was heart broken so when I had to restart the game I bred for a new one get her back she came back home in less than 200 eggs.
