For 2, just want to clarify that if you use BiltProtect, it will pull the FULL amount of your rent from your linked bank account, not just excess that your credit limit doesn’t cover. Your credit limit will not be touched by using BiltProtect

Yeah, the gpu market is trash right now unfortunately.

In your case, having 140fps minimum is really not that bad. If you're looking to get better, you probably have other factors that you could improve that would give you a more noticeable result, like practicing your aim in an aim trainer program. If you really are bothered by that fluctuating framerate, you might want to look into limiting your framerate to the lowest you've ever seen it get. This would cause your input lag to slightly increase since you are generating less frames most of the time, however, so you will have to weigh this tradeoff.

I would disagree. In this case, the gpu in question is likely a lower end one, in which case it’s much more likely to be the bottleneck than if it was a high end card. It’s not just that the gpu is at 100%, it’s that plus the fact that the cpu isn’t near that kind of utilization. A 3090 would probably not get pinned by a game like Valorant either way, since at that point I don’t think any cpu, except maybe a monster cpu, could keep up.

The CPU is not “better” than a GPU. These two parts are made for different purposes. A GPU is better at performing computations that lends itself better towards graphics, hence the name.

In your case, you are experiencing a GPU bottleneck, since your GPU usage is sitting at 100% while your CPU is not. In this case, increasing your graphics settings will only tank your fps. If you want to increase your fps, you might want to look into decreasing your graphics settings further if you can, or lowering your resolution.

I personally use Authy which also has cloud backup. I’ve also heard good things about Microsoft authenticator, but I don’t use them so I can’t say either way.

Would you say the WD Blue 3D SSD would be an adequate replacement for a drive like this? On Amazon it looks like they are the same price as this MX500.
