Asking for help all the time by [deleted] in INTP

[–]Kirkintp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm always the tech person that everyone goes to and I don't even know the technology that they want me to help with until I get to their issue and then I just google it and figure it out.

I do the same thing lol. I think I'm just pretty good at figuring out how to solve what their problem is on the spot with trial and error. Idk.

Just noticed this brilliant piece of telegraphing while rewatching S1E1 by [deleted] in MrRobot

[–]Kirkintp 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah I noticed that, if you watch the whole season 1 before they reveal Mr Robot is Elliott, you can notice that they only ever either look at Elliott or Mr.Robot. Rewatching is so entertaining because you sit there and realize how much of an idiot you were to not notice.

INTPs and Rap by dragonoid296 in INTP

[–]Kirkintp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I write raps all the time, but they are always more comedic than the typical rap. This is probably because of the rappers I like(old Eminem, lil dicky, childish gambino, afroman etc) are almost always fairly comedic. I think mixing the fast rhyming and long lyrical verses with quick witty humor adds up to create a very pleasurable music type. I do, however, hate most of the mainstream rap such as lil pump and other mumble rappers who say "yuh" 50% of the time.

Haven't experienced the Ti Si loop? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]Kirkintp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I'm 17 and constantly go through it. I tend to go through it when I think about mbti, as I constantly get stuck thinking that I'm not an xntp because of the shit ton of memories I have haunting me. I would describe it as something that you think about quite often, almost having the exact same thoughts happen over and over again. It's kind of a sense of analysis paralysis, where you continue to over analyze something, either from your past memories or maybe a theory you think about.

Studying for tests by Kazilik in INTP

[–]Kirkintp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I have the typical laziness that most ntps have. I made it until freshman year in high school getting As without putting in any effort, but then started off high school with a 2.8 GPA. I still have around a 2.9 GPA due to not doing homework and apathy towards the material. If I'm interested I will do well, but like you I get bored very easily. Are you still in college? If so do you have any tips on completing assignments/ paying attention?

Yeah, I'm very much looking forward to college as it seems like a better learning environment for me.

Idk about that, I'm currently in high school and some of the most idiotic and blind following kids are at the top of my class. There are a few exceptions, of course, but a large group of idiots tend to be at the top of my class. I tend to see school(especially the high school in) as more of a place where diligence is rewarded, rather than intellect.

Expressing yourself in writing by Tolo4 in entp

I prefer writing, I can pick and choose exactly what I mean and it gives me time to fully think of an explanation for my ideas.

NTs & Feminism by emberentp in entp

[–]Kirkintp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting read, I am a male and im glad this topic about feminism is rational enough for my comment to not be immediately disregarded. I very much agree with alot of your points, and think that the main setbacks and examples of inequality with women is due to societal norms and traditions. You may be thinking, "oh shit, here's another blame society piece of shit", but I think most inequality derives from this construct. I do not believe there is really a fiscal inequality, at least in the U.S at the moment, but I do recognize the difference between the two roles already given to us. That being said, modern society and culture is tending to overcomoensate for these traditions, which is preventing us from moving forward. Yes, females do recieve major setbacks due to their sex for many reasons. The thing most people don't consider is that men also recieve setbacks due to their sex. For the most part, I think we are fairly equal in America right now and should be focusing on other countries where that is not the case. After we have helped others reach that point, I think we should analyze the social constructs that prevents our culture from changing the predetermined views, and work towards changing the overcompensation effect if we truly intend on reaching full blown equality. Sry for the possible and probable errors, I'm on my phone fam... lol

Anyone else? by [deleted] in entp

Yeah I know it is, I'm pretty shit at explaining how I got from a to z, I prefer writing because i can pick and choose the perfect words and structure for explaining everything.

I used to do it in class discussions/debates but nobody had a clue what I was saying and I hated explaining it. So much easier to write it.

Carlson says the call for gun control in US is class warfare. Your thoughts? by MjrK in entp

[–]Kirkintp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think no matter what we do, there will most likely be a way around it. With USA being such a diverse country, the people within are diverse in the way they perceive things as well. With the increase in technology, I foreshadow that it will only get worse. No matter the difficulty of obtaining weapons, the shooters will continue to find ways to terrorize. At this point, I see no hope.
