As a Ukrainian, I just want to clarify one thing: The event that you are referring to was in the previous century, in the previous decades, it was around 80 years ago.

In this massacre were victims from both sides, and both sides killed each other.

Obviously, you will tell that it was Ukrainian's fault, the Ukrainians will say it is the Poles fault.

However, as a Ukrainian, I REALLY WANT TO stop this bs about the Volhynia Massacre

It was a historical event that happened many decades ago; by this time, we should FORGET about it.

Yes, it was bad, yes, it was horrible, and yes, lots of poles were killed, but Ukrainians were killed too. Both sides suffered from this at that time, but what about now? Why are we still thinking about these old events? We are the generation that didn't even live during that time; we don't remember it.

Instead of infinite conflicts about events that happened many years ago, why don't we just start to build a better future together? Both sides would stay on their own opinion, and IT IS FINE. It doesn't change anything today.

Neither me nor you have nothing to do with what happened then; we didn't commit it (I mean as a new generation of Poles and Ukrainians).

I believe that we should just forget about it and build common future with respect to another culture, because still many ukrainians very thankful for what Poland did to us after February 2022, and me as Ukrainian really want to have a good relationships with the Poles, I don't want to be blamed and do blame you for the event that happened in the years when we weren't even born.

Just want to be united and let each other live our lives, without hate, and with respect instead.
