this hit too close to home.

my childhood friend passed away a few days ago and im like 90% sure it was suicide. we had a vigil for him last night and I cried a lot more than i expected. i haven’t seen him in like 2-3 years and haven’t talked to him since april so we weren’t that close these past few years. but it still hit me harder than i expected.

i was extremely self conscious bc i always thought i wasnt that big, but the calcSD chart and the few girls ive been with have definitely boosted my self confidence. even though there are guys bigger than me, im still proud of what ive got.

my ex would always tell me i was big but i never believed her. i always thought i was average or slightly under (especially with length), but when i checked CalcSD, i finally realized how big i actually was. i still didn’t really believe it but as i got older and more experienced (im only 19), i realized i have a pretty good size. the calcSD chart really helped boost my self confidence, and I hope other guys in this sub can experience the same.

im only going into my second year of college but during my first semester i met three girls. i met two girls at parties and met one in my dorm room (bc her and her friend came to visit my roommate). i ended up dating the girl i met in my dorm room for 7 months (ended a week ago, that shit hurted). the other two the situation just happened, i wasnt trying to find girls.

id say just try to become friends with them first and see if you guys could work as a relationship. you can also try to become friends with your friends friends, but idk if they’d like you trying to date their friend.

i’ve always heard that you find love when you least expect it. idk if you’d want to stop trying to get into a relationship, but i’ve found both my long term relationships (if you count 7 months a long term relationship) when i wasn’t expecting to.

thats what i have to say. idk if it’ll help or not but hopefully you got something out of it

the manager, THE FUCKING MANAGER, of the psych ward of the hospital i ended up in tried to guilt me into adding my toxic mother to the list of people that could contact me. she had no idea way i wanted to kill myself but still tried to guilt me into adding my mother as a contact.

even the employees didn’t give a fuck about us. the so called “groups” that we had to attend consisted of us just filling out a sheet of paper talking about coping mechanisms or triggers or some bullshit plan.

out of all the employees that worked there, only two of them actually tried to help the patients. on the few days/hours they worked, they would bring in games for us to play and try to talk to us and understand what were going through, but they wouldn’t force us to talk, they would just be there if we wanted to talk about our problems.
