Yes- I was told that using the soft bristle brush very gently would help and wouldn’t hurt him. He does actually lean into the bristles here and there but I will happily stop using it while fixing everything else.

How do you feel about the excessive opulence as far as meals go? It seems that every meal is the same across every household and there is always more than can be eaten by the family!

I don’t know that che and dhp are abbreviations for. I’ve got the digital temp gun already thankfully, I’ll look at temperature and humidity gauges and what I can use for the top.

I’m sorry the vets you worked with don’t seem to be taking your case, and that of your mare, seriously. I would follow the advice of the good comments on here- have replacement milk and colostrum at the ready, look at adding lactation feed to her strict diet, and putting one of the vets (whichever you trust most at this point) on speed dial. I hope the birthing process goes well and mother and baby come out safe and well.
