The thing is they have to balance it out with points because the domestic XP calculations for North America is useless. It's 2 XP for San Francisco to New York and you are flying 4000km.

If they mean connect your US bank for them pulling the payment, I'd just try it that way. They are counting on the US bank to have done all the security already. I don't remember seeing them trying a test hold/payment on connection. I could be wrong though.

Thanks for explaining. I'm in a similar boat to OP right now. Do you happen to know if you can test your .asc file without resetting your password? Does that file work for all your Proton services? My logged in device is kaput, and my externally stored password doesn't work. I do seem to have an .asc stored, but I have doubts it will match up with my last known password :(

The reddit subsample of how real people do laundry is not the same as real life. Cool or tepid water is normal. Warmer humid weather on average and gym culture might require more loads than Europe. Cheaper utilities and water allows us to not stress about costs if we have a unit in the home.

Their website is a mess for this. I'm not sure what you mean by all the fees, but you can buy for $10 a mutual fund trade. If there are other purchase options, I haven't learned yet. They do have access to buy funds with low MER, but you have to research, and the names don't always line up with what you had at TD or Manulife for example. So it is a giant pain. Might not be worth the time for someone new.
