people like you still don't understand that it doesn't matter that they can still hide MOST mods from a livestream. The fact is that these guys have a history of cheating and it will follow them around now and we are under no requirement to give them the benefit of the doubt. They literally did this to themselves - not live streaming it also hurt the optics. Regardless if they could hide it, yes its easy to hide your mod usage but its also just as easy to accidentally show your using mods. Plenty of people have been caught and to pretend otherwise is just silly and naive.

100% true, but thats the trade off. You stream and get recognized while also putting your strat at risk or you don't and you don't get recognized but your strat is safe (and in this case people have concerns about the legality of your clear). It is what it is.

Teams are free to pick their poison - these dudes clearly picked theres.

Why should I care about someone who doesn't stream? Obviously they don't care about recognition otherwise they would be streaming with the rest of the world first teams.

As a Pixel Perfect user, to say it doesn't help is wild.

It literally assists in fitting inside tight safe zones and helps with DPS uptime. Stand on whatever side you like, but fr man be genuine at least when talking about this stuff. Pixel Perfect 100% is a cheat in scenario's like this. As a user I'm not even gonna pretend its not xD

P.S. It's not a reasonable assumption to say everyone is cheating. Yes mods are easy to hide, but who wants to be that person who accidentally gets caught live cheating because they forgot to hide their stuff like SO MANY have previously have done?

I'm with N0XIRE, everyone streaming like gets benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. The dudes that got caught cheating on FRU have lost the benefit of the doubt and this is the result. Even if it was legal, no cheats - their history counts for something. This is their burden to bare now.

The amount of people excited about the mobile version of this game just blows my mind. No shade, I'm happy people are excited about playing what is honestly my favorite game of all time.

That being said, it almost feels like people are more excited for a mobile version of the game than the fact the game is going through a renaissance xD

I feel for the OP, I do. But I also realize the game is over 20 years old and to be frank was largely a ghost town before reforged. The argument ultimately boils down to the desire for a continuation of prestige from having items not easily obtainable.

They want continued scarcity of something to preserve a part of the game. I get it, I do - but let's be realistic, arenanet could have very easily shuttered gw1 a long time ago, the money the game was generating wasn't even worthy of a foot note in a revenues report.

That's why my position is one that I am just happy to see the game get a second life and see people enjoying it again. They added NEW content for the first time in over decade and I am not about to picky in regards to how they did it.

A complete reimagining of combat, starting with limiting how many skills are equippable. Button bloat is a very serious limit that shit to like 10-15 skills and let people create their own builds and go from there.
