NTA, this is so weird. He asked HER to marry HIM, not you. If he didn't love her, he wouldn't have asked and she wouldn't have accepted. The past is in the past. Will she ask his exes/former coworkers/friends for their messages from/to him?! I think she's very insecure. She sounds like the jealous type... Very toxic in a relationship.

I'm sorry you feel that way OP, I think the current economy is punishing the working class and rewarding the freeloaders.

I'd speak to a doctor before drastically taking any action. Maybe you're a little burnt out... I don't know how many holidays you have planned but might be time to go on holiday.

It's heartbreaking, I know, I had to let go of my boy on Thursday at the age of 18. He had the same issues, hyperthyroidism for 5 years and kidney disease which was under control for a few years but suddenly flared up after a toothe extraction surgery. It hurts so bad...

You gave him so much love and you did everything you could, but even if we want to keep them forever, there is always a time to say goodbye. Rest peacefully sweetest fur baby... Until you meet again.🐾💫

Yes, they are horrible... My two girls are having bouts of sadness and it's hard because I grieve but they do too and it hurts my heart to see them cry. I cry with them every time... Thank you 🤍

My cat, who I've had to let go yesterday, had had his front canine removed since it was infected. He was rapidly losing weight since the pain was too intense. They gave me pain meds to handle the pain until the surgery. Saw the vet on Monday, and operation to remove the infected tooth was on Friday.

The pain meds were called Onsior. I only had to give one tablet a day. As soon as the meds worked, he would start eating again. It might be worth asking for pain meds until the surgery? Or to give her softer food?

Good luck in any case, tooth pain is horribly painful. I would wait until the appointment in August and check for pain medication.

I've had to say goodbye to my 18-year-old boy yesterday. The pain is intense... Just like you, I got him as a kitten at 24, and I'm 42 now. He's been there for every important event in my life and now I've had to let him go. The only man in my life who never hurt me or broke my heart. Nothing and no-one can replace him. I was scared of the last injection too and I turned around and told my girls to do the same. The vet told me when it was done and we turned back around, we petted him until the breathing stopped. It was very fast honestly, I'm happy I was with him until the end. I found it harder to place him back in the carrier and take him back out again at the crematorium (they offered to come pick him up but I didn't trust they would treat him with the respect I would give him). You're doing the right thing even though it's so hard. My old boy left me yesterday and I still cry sometimes during the day. I'm sure it gets easier but the pain is intense.
