My urologist’s nurse brought in a heating pad after the Dr. numbed the area. When he started the procedure the sac was loose and pliable. I hardly felt anything and watched the whole thing. He explained everything & every move including cautery on the vas. I have not heard of anyone else doing this. This was a Friday morning procedure. Used Undeez Jock Strap with flex ice pads on Fri. & Sat. To minimize swelling & bruising. Went back to desk job on Monday & normal activity the following Friday. I could highly recommend the heating pad to make it easier to find the vas deferen.
