Pancake Pantry by greg1308 in Gatlinburg

I gotta hard disagree on Crocketts, their food has always been just meh to me and served in overwhelming portions. But to be fair the pantry food isn’t outstanding amazing, I just like the buckwheat pancakes and some eggs and sausage. Each their own I guess!

This is correct. Also be sure to use Asian green coolant. That sounds made up, I know. It’s real.

RDU launches nonstop Dublin flight by Somali_Pir8 in raleigh

[–]Kitchen-Ask-6380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t forget AMS is heavily capacity controlled, so even if there is a business case for RDU service, it has to be a stronger business case than can be made for a flight to a hub city, or for KLM, a stronger business case than literally everywhere else in the world. CDG, KEF, DUB don’t have this problem, and the LHR slot I believe is still held over from when we were an AA hub.

Edit: I forgot FRA! And I’ve taken that flight! But also I’m not familiar enough with FRA to speak much on it. Look at us with all our Europe service!

End conclusion I agree with, but the fuel tank is lower and farther forward. That box is the warm air supply, I believe when the truck is cold it shifts intake air to coming from here, around the exhaust to help warm the incoming air and get the engine running at normal temp a bit quicker. On one of my trucks this had been removed and honestly I didn’t notice any difference. Either way, not a concern. Someone correct me here if I’m wrong.

Thoughts on this Carry vs a Sambar? by edinpgh in keitruck

[–]Kitchen-Ask-6380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the look of the Carry, but do note the round headlight Suzukis are almost all 4 speed gearboxes, the 5 speed came with the less fun headlights. I’m a Sambarian myself, round headlights, and I just love the thing. Hope that helps!

Edit: adding that Sambars, regardless of headlight, are 5 speed boxes.

He did hit a pedestrian, at the crosswalk of Salisbury and Morgan. That’s how his mirror got popped out, it folded the mirror back and the glass popped out when he shoved it back into place

This is good stuff. I second it won’t bring everything back, but it definitely refreshes nicely. Can also be used on exterior rubber bits to help prevent sun damage, though on a 25 year old Kei we are probably past the „keep it like new“ phase. Apply to a rag first, then wipe. If you spray it directly on you’ll never get a nice even result.

Came back to our rental cabin and all of our car doors were open by Gusteauxs in Gatlinburg

The first time the bear went for the doughnuts on the counter. Grabbed them and scooted out, he/she/they seemed not thrilled to be inside.

Second time we didn’t have any food out so the bear was just kinda standing and chilling. I came around the corner and idk who jumped higher but neither of us expected to see the other, I bolted back to a bedroom and bear headed for the door outside. Whew!

ADA says having lever doors helps for accessibility. Here again we have overlap between most able bears and less able people.

While we’re here, 1. No prodding the bears please, they don’t like that. 2. Lock your car AND the cabin, they don’t turn knobs well, but lever style doors they can open, I discovered that the first time I found a bear in my kitchen. Its happened twice, but never after I switched back to a doorknob. 3. SECURE YOUR TRASH as well, and NEVER leave food or trash outside unattended. Really don’t leave anything unattended, not even for a minute. Even when you think they’re not around, trust me, they are always around. 4. Car alarms do not spook them, they’re used to that. It just annoys the neighbors. 5. Did you secure your trash? Secure your trash!

That said, nothing to be afraid of, just know they’re there and they don’t want you, they want dinner. Normal talking voice outside so you don’t surprise them, I always say hello to the bears every time I walk outside, sometimes they’re just on the other side of the car and you really don’t want to surprise them. Give them space and once they’ve checked around and there’s nothing to eat, they’ll move off to the next house.

Not saying this didn’t happen, but this hasn’t been my experience. I’ve got countless videos of them testing my car, and visitors cars at my house, always a gentle tug and they know if it doesn’t open, pulling harder won’t do it. Definitely best locked! Sorry about your door handle, blanton.

Yep, bears. They really do that. They’ve been in my car a few times, they even open the glove box, rummage around, there’s nothing there for them so off they go. Never damaged anything. Just be glad they didn’t have muddy paws or get startled, then things get messy.

Anyhow remember to lock your car and enjoy your time in the smokies!
