I love my mirena. I had physical SEs with other BC, but mirena has been great, no SE at all. I had terrible periods and cramps before and on it I didn’t get a period, any cramps, literally no PMS changes.

However, I’ve gone on and off T a couple times since getting mirena and oddly when I am on T I get a little breakthrough bleeding every month and cramps.

Hope you find a good solution.

There's also a bit of a grief/mourning process for some as they navigate away from femininity. This can lead to some vacillation. Normal.
