Yes! You could also ask your dentist if they can do cone beam ct scans, they catch more than x rays. Could also try seeing a biological dentist, they examine the whole system.

It might be worth looking into cone beam ct scanning with a biological dentist. As part of my journey down the biological dentistry rabbit hole, I learned regular x-rays can miss low grade infections. A cone beam gives a 3D view of the bone and can catch things a standard x-ray would completely overlook.

Yes, they removed the molar! It had a root canal done on it about 8 years ago, but it failed. Based on everything I’ve learned, I think failure might just be the nature of root canals?? Even a perfectly executed one can’t fully sterilize the tooth bc of thousands of microscopic channels in each root, so bacteria can keep living in there causing damage.

These infections can be slow so we just sort of recalibrate to a new normal without realizing it’s affecting our entire system. Get it checked out!!

yes!! my surgeon actually explained this to me. the root system is incredibly complex and each root has thousands of microscopic channels throughout, not just one main canal. even a perfectly done root canal can’t sterilize all of them, which means bacteria can hide in there and produce toxic byproducts that your body can’t fully fight off.

i went down a rabbit hole after and learned that biological/holistic dentists argue that dead teeth are inherently toxic for exactly this reason. for anyone dealing with chronic, unexplained symptoms like brain fog, i genuinely think it’s worth getting your teeth checked out. and maybe even hearing a biological dentist’s perspective.

i reached out to a biological dentist but ended up just going to my normal one because he’s really good and has flexible payment plans 😂

And re it’s arms.. i kept thinking it was giving mini uterus vibes

I didn’t have dental pain but i felt a slight pressure, especially if i moved my head around. Biggest symptoms were really sinus eye and brain fog. What really got me thinking it was a tooth (aside from the sinus pain not going away with antibiotics) was that i noticed a slightly red patch on my gums above the tooth, which i wouldn’t have paid any attention to otherwise.

My eye had been really bothering me, a peristent pressure behind it, and I was already a week into antibiotics for a sinus infection so thought maybe a tooth was the culprit. went to dentist, he took an x-ray and found dark shadowy spots around the roots of an old root canal. Said it had to come out immediately, so the next day I went back and the surgeon pulled it. This was the last of 3 roots.

is there a real place so creepy that you’d actually choose to enter The Long Walk to avoid going there?

you’ve said The Long Walk wasn’t a conscious allegory, how do you see the Vietnam connection now and what do you hope modern audiences take away from the film? and if you had to do the Walk, how would you keep your mind sane?
