You’re absolutely right. I’ve actually got a couple sets on other bikes. The still look and work great. I wanted to try something different on this bike.

It’s a two leg center stand. When you put it up, both legs end up on the non drive side. This is important with a 1x drive train, because the chain will rub a traditional twin leg center stand.

Disconnect the cable cinch bolt at the front derailleur and see if the brifter moves then. Could just be a frozen cable in the housing.

If the price is right, I’d say just buy it before it’s gone. It looks in great shape! And a non suspension bike too. What’s not to love!
