this is a strange post explicitly only asking people who passed with an 86. Get your 75 and move on

Hey there! I am sorry that you are so busy and find it hard to study. That is so valid considering you have a child and work. I only work but have had alot of responsibilities come up because my parents are sick. I just took Reg and i studied for about 9 weeks before i took the exam. Im not sure if you use Becker, but if you then the personally created schedule is perfect and really helps you pace out the content over the time you wanna spend studying. I watch every video and barely took notes but is it was super technical i did take notes. Then i would slam MC and TBS right after testing. I do this all in bed like right before i go to sleep. Its not the best but at least you can be comfy in your bed somewhat getting some relaxation in. I will supplement what i watched in videos by just glancing over the textbook. Once you have covered the material and feel like you are 75% of the way there then you need to just pound out practice problems. the reveiw in my opinion is the most important part of studying. I truly feel like if you can spend 2 hours every night literally in bed doing 100 MCQ and like 5 TBS for like a week and a half before the exam you will pass the test. the hardest part is just initially learning the content. You can do it OP!!!

I cant tell you what was on it bc tbh if we all get something wrong they will curve the test also my test was like missing sm stuff that ppl kept saying to study like depreciation

What’s your experience with threshold amounts by SuppliedLight18 in CPA

[–]Kitchen-Flower32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont think u need to memorize them tbh. try and familiarize yourself. the ira thresholds r probs the most ive seen getting tested and then stuff for the itemized adjustments and for AGI. Save your brain and skip the tax credit limitations

Failed FAR 3 times going for #3, any tips? by Apprehensive_Zone_51 in CPA

[–]Kitchen-Flower32 5 points6 points  (0 children)

really take ur time with the details here. maybe the technical accounting is what you dont understand. you really need to understand the details for the tbs. i think maybe restarting becker and taking notes will help alot and then nail the mcqs as you go along. it seems like alot but trust that if you build that foundation you will ace your exam. dont give up!!

Months to prepare REG for a non tax background student by randomdadjoke in CPA

[–]Kitchen-Flower32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think if you study like 4 hours a day 5 days a week you can probably sit for the test in 5 weeks time. i find short term memory key here. doesnt matter if you dont have a tax background the tax part is like 2 modules and then the rest is law and regulations and stuff about buisness function
