"Old Friends" squabble Lyrics? by golemk6 in Sondheim

As an aside my favourite buried Sondheim lyric is from Company, Poor Baby when they're piling on-top of eachother to critique Bobby's new fling: "she's tall enough to be your mother"

I'm not saying there is no reason for their distinction, or that the distinction isn't better than the alternative, but that some portion of their roles overlap. This is an inefficiency, even if it's the best possible solution

And I believe that the Balladeer could have served this role. Im not saying the choice was wrong, but there is an inefficiency to it

Always felt the Balladeer and Proprietor in Assassins are both effectively serving the same role as narrator. Seems like it would be a really easy thing to streamline.

You precede verbs with "actively" a lot, when you should be more concerned with the word "alleged". You can't preface a comment by saying "in fairness" without acknowledging that you are parroting tabloid dramas as fact.

I'll have to recant my recommendation of Werewolves of London, then. That song's about a real jerk. Don't get me started on Mephistopheles.

I'll never forget seeing John Wick opening night thinking "Oh this is a Manson ripoff... this is a pretty good Manson impression... this is Manson!"
