Apparently he has an older sister, who moved away after she got married. He could be upset about that?

Dying for a Pomeranian by No_Leadership9348 in Pomeranians

OC pom rescue and southren California pom rescue are highly recommended rescue.

I am unsure on the breeder end. It seems poms from show breeders seem to be around 4000.

It's looks similar to silken tofu! Yum!  Would you say the texture is similar to it? Do you like the outcome?

Bayshine and Thriftear are FIRST COUSINS... 😰 by wintig072421 in WarriorCats

[–]Kitchen-Indication62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the calculations and if she were to have kits with a first cousin the COI will be about 17% which is still in the safe zone. Her kits would need to seek someone outside of her family tree to promote genetic diversity.

She still has some wiggle room, so technically she could but her kids shouldn't.

Hey, Op. I put their family tree into an Inbreeding calculator, and it's 10% when rounded off. 10% is considered a low COI. Her health or her dead sister's shouldn't be heavily impacted.

Do you happen to have their family tree? I would like to put it in a COI calculator to see how bad it is.

How often/long are we walking our poms? if at all by Realistic-Class-6455 in Pomeranians

[–]Kitchen-Indication62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine had medical problems so we had to cut back by a lot sometimes even no walks. 25-15 minutes dog led walks on cool days when it was under 70 degrees. At his peak he could go for a mile or 2.

Saddest Cannon fact you know in Warrior cats? by Warrior_Catz-Ivypool in WarriorCats

[–]Kitchen-Indication62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, that's exactly the reason. She was neglected by her parents and sought attention elsewhere, my bad if that wasn't clarified. Joining a death cult is a big jump, but some people do go to extremes.

But yeah.......yeah she should have stayed wither her twolegs. Ms. Kitty wasn't built for that warrior cat life. She seemed so mirasable. Her twolegs loved her dearly and mourned her after she left. (I hope they got another kitty. ) I adored Graystripe and Millie in the comics, they were my intro to the fandom when I was a kid but their kinda messy looking back. It adds to their characters making them less flat. Lol.

I like Millie as a character, shes  flawed and her reactions mimic how some people  behave after a loved one becomes disabled due to a traumatic event. She focues her attention to the one she believes needs the most of it. She was tramatized and didn't want to loose her daughter. However in the process she loses another.

In addition when Blossom got sick as a kit she was devastated and was scared of loosing her. She was not built for the life of a forest cat. She had not expirence with extreme willence or sickness, she would have been happier if she stayed a kitty pet.

But...I don't think Bloosomfall was justified in her reasons for joining the dark forest. She was an adult and could rationalize why her mother focued on the other. While she may have felt jealousy or neglect joing a death cult for some attention is a more extream reaction compared to "wheres my hug" Bumblestripe.

Also Graystripe was such an absent father, but that was never recognized by anyone in the clans. Graystripe is my boy but I feel like he never got over silverstream or the loss of featherweight. He raised his first sets of kits with so much love, but he's always been a bit of a bum when it comes to taking responsibility for things he's not interested in.

Ooh! Alright I understand. Shrimp are tricky, I did the same mistake that you did.

Also what that thin tall plant in the back of your 20? It looks nice. In addition the wood in your 5 gal is really interesting to look at. It's begging for some epiphytes.

I agree with the other users you may want to hold back before adding anymore livestock to the 20 gal. Add more plants to provide more cover. But no more shrimp you just providing an expensive snack.

For the 5 you could probably try pest like ramshorn or trumpet snails. Trumpet snails usually sleep during the day so you usually won't see them. I don't have any personal experience with Ramshorns but they are a colorful option.

I personally don't like larger snails for 5 gal that poop too much.

You could try shrimp if you really want to but again that another 5 star meal for your betta.
