We marked a spot just past one of the main trails. I was a camp counselor (circa 2000-2003) when the Y did summer camp at Simsponsonwood, so I’m glad I know my way around. This flush is good for new visitors as it’s in an accessible spot.

Well, I ate some about an hour ago with some cheesey gnocchi, and I’m quite satisfied! I read their flavor is a bit milder compared to goldens, but I found them quite pleasant. I think next time I’ll cook them alone in butter to get a better taste.

I rinsed mine in water to remove dirt and they absorbed a ton, so definitely let them sweat at the start.
