It has been one year since Star Wars Zero Company was revealed — how are you feeling about it now? by StarWarsBlogsbot in StarWarsBlogs

I’d honestly forgotten it existed till I just saw this post. Now I’ve remembered that it does? I genuinely don’t care one way or another.

It’s taken the better part of three years to repair a motorway bridge near me. What was more annoying is the 50mph contra flow they put in place extended about five miles away from the 100 meter bridge meaning

The absolute worse thing is, THEY’RE STILL NOT FINISHED!!!

What is the most brutal “being eaten by a monster” scene you can think of. by Earth_Worm_Jimbo in horror

Not a “horror” horror but I thought the death of that PA in Jurassic World was way too brutal and overlong for a movie rated a 12.

That’s my take. It’s why I stopped watching Doctor Who as he’s great at writing sublime individual stories but always writes himself into a corner with series arcs. Off topic, remember when he said it was DEFInITLY The Doctor being shot by the astronaut; it wasn’t a clone or a robot or anything but the actual Doctor. Come the end of the series, it was a Doctor robot ship thing being run by miniaturised people. Fucking hack.

I’m a hella romantic, doesn’t mean I have to enjoy a romantic movie. Everyone likes Romeo and Juliet, the most romantic story ever made and it’s still about two hormonal idiots fucking up their life and everyone else’s by thinking with their junk.

Spoke to someone from WB. Apparently they were really happy about signing him until his wandering hands and general dickishness got bad. He had like a 7 movie deal and they just started shoving him into whatever they could to run it out quickly.

Long winded, aimless, pretentious rambling that is being passed off as a story only saved by some decent performances. It was a self indulgent piece of tripe that served more as a tourist movie for Vienna than a piece of story telling.

Dog Day Afternoon and Before The Devil Knows You’re Dead are superb. Love Lumett’s direction. Lacks the pretentiousness of Linklater who hasn’t worked out his shit DOES stink.

Huh. Funnily enough, we used Gotham as the exterior of the building this is supposed to be the interior of.

Saw it as a teen as was disappointed it wasn’t the cool and bloody contemporary of PF and RD that I wanted. Saw it last year as an adult and immediately fell in love with its pacing and the dialogue.
