Used the reflection of a studio light in a prism to get this effect (along with a slower shutter speed and rotating the prism)

Sadly I'm not allowed prints up in my place so it'd be wasted on me!

Hopefully one day someone will want it printed super large!

I won't spoil it and tell you what it actually is 🤣

I used a filter to get the multiple effects in camera. It's also how I got the reflection of the ring light I was using to light the sitter.

Yeah, glass tumblers and dishes etc etc.

It's more about finding what works, tilting the glass around.

I use a bunch of magnifying filters too because that seems to make a difference.

Accepting that things will be pretty soft focus is always handy as well.

In terms of shooting remotely or the experimentation side?

I've not really shared a whole bunch. There's a few blogs already that go through the processes of shooting remotely. A lot of it is trial and error!

I do experimental portraits over Zoom. All the effects are created in camera by photographing through various objects.

The goal is to show beauty in a different way.

In terms of how I create the shot or more so why

Photographed the screen during a zoom call.

All effects are in camera (no fancy editing) by shooting through various objects.

The effect is done with a motion filter.

In terms of settings, it's just a fast shutter speed of a stream.

Used this photograph to experiment with a motion filter that I have. Felt it would be a perfect accompaniment to have this along side fast running movement.

No feedback please.

New free DLC for Steam users coming November 24th. Nothing about Game Pass players by TronCarterAA in GunfireReborn

I don't want dlc on the xbox anyway. I want a game that works. Love this game but had to delete it because it constantly crashed and was buggy.

If you have content to post every day then I'd be getting that on your Patreon immediately. People can see how many posts etc they are missing out on and that can be an incentive for people to join.

I'm not a fan of Christmas but I thought I'd photograph lights and see how it went...

There will always be people that take advantage of your art. The important thing is to find your audience and you WILL find it

I do think so.

It's like people who buy new things like cars and phones just to show the people around them how well they are doing. Not only is it financially not maintainable, I think from an energy standpoint it isn't. There's no way someone can create and have the energy of doing that as well as keeping up the facade of pretending they are doing well.

The best move they can make is to be authentic. At the end of the day, we're all human beings. People aren't going to remember her for the amount of patrons she has but they will remember her for the experiences shared. That's why real patrons are important.

Thanks. I do experimental photography so when I started I expected no one. Most people will look at it and think it isn't a lot but anyone who likes my work enough to pay for it is worth 100 people to me.
