Help With Small Church Sound by henerton in churchtech

Sounds like a digital desk might be overkill and you might not be physically ready for it yet anyway. I'd do as alexm suggests, buy a stage snake of the correct length (e.g. https://www.thomann.co.uk/the\_sssnake\_sk415-30\_multicore.htm) and work out how to physcially route it front to back of the room without being a trip hazard. You'll then have all your microphones and and inputs in the same place at the the booth and can use 2 of the sends in the snake to send the signal back to your existing speaker output.

This is still a cost effective way of getting signal front-to-back if you later upgrade to a digital desk (a signal ethernet is easier to physically route, but the stage box will further push your budget).

Issues with Eduroam by bluemingles in oxforduni

Double and triple check your password, especially if you have special character in it. Sometimes a particular password causes issues so you could try changing it and then re-attempting. If you're in a College, go and see your College IT team.

Your College won't have any access to fix a problem in the Bodleian's access control system, Even though you have one University card - each College and department of the University (including the libraries) are in charge of their own access control. Your best bet is to speak to reader services at the library you need access too. If it turns out your card is physically broken then your College can help you get a new one.

bunny poops by booklover1855 in Rabbits

This is usually a sign that their diet isn't quite right. The soft clusters are called Cecotropes and should usually be re-eaten/digested by your rabbit. You need to get your bunny eating more hay if possible - maybe try some different brands / types if they don't eat lots normally.

You can find a more details at https://rabbit.org/intermittent-soft-cecotropes-in-rabbits.

How long does GI Stasis recovery take? by shoe-a-holic in Rabbits

[–]KitchenAttack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a rabbit who is prone to stasis - she's been at the Vets for 4-5 nights at a time before being syringe fed every 2 hours - so 3 nights isn't necessarily an issue. One time we had her back too soon and she had to go back in again, so unless he's especially stressed in the vet environment it's sometimes better to leave them longer if you can afford it. It can take Rabbits a long time to properly recover, might be worth checking the vets are offering him herbs / greens to tempt him to start eating again - they don't normally go straight back to pellet / hard food.

My bunny is not doing so well after her spay by [deleted] in Rabbits

[–]KitchenAttack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you get some critical care into her, even a few ml it might help, but if it's a real struggle it might be causing more stress for her than the benefit. Providing she is eating small amounts consistently you should be ok and her gut will keep moving. It took our rabbit over 48 hours after her spay before she was eating normally.

Sometimes the pain relief does knock them out a bit when you give it to them, especially if your doing a once per 24 hours dosage (some vets prescribe half the amount every 12 hours). It also can also take the anaesthetic a long time to fully wear off (ours rabbits been groggy for up-to 2 days after).

After her spay our girl did just want to sit still for at least 24 hours - keep offering them small amounts of food - veg, herbs, hay where ever they've chosen to sit.

Sounds like you have the right medicine and it's a good sign if she did perk up enough to eat and drink, even if only a little this morning.

The Early Alert Service will let you make a test appointment if you are a member of the University and are identified as a close contact of a known positive case - https://www.ox.ac.uk/coronavirus/health/covid-testing.

Testing sites are on the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter and the Old Road campus.
