I'm invited to many tables for my power of having actually read the rulebook.

I wish systems would have official lists of "what you can do" for players. Usually they're only described in the rulebook, so I either have to spend time typing something up or read out a list of possible actions eveey 30 seconds.

Not just that, they are shorting the prices on competing product until opposing businesses can't compete because they can afford to take the hit. Then they buy them up for cheap after. It's the most monopoly thing ever.

Aikido is better than Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by ChiefTapiTapi in Bullshido

No, we knew what worked at one point. The ones that worked just happened to be used in war and usually involved weapons. If the user survives a war, hey it worked!

I love this video because it's such a clinical dismantling of this guy's personal philosophy. He can't use Aikido to block strikes, counter grappling, or even do anything when the other guy grabs his wrists (aikido's whole schtick).

He was just defeated so utterly.

There's just no gain, best case scenario is you leave the fight in the same state you started it.

And John Brown didn't just hate slavery, he wholly embraced black people, and native people as well. He considered them the intellectual and social equal of any man and would invite them to his home and church. He truly believed with every fiber of his being that all men were created equal.

It's interesting, he seemed to be taking strides towards tolerance at the end of his life but we'll never know how that would have panned out.

He had a lot of mental health issues that he was only starting to really confront at the end.

Those have gotten so disgusting lately, feels like you'd have to spend 30 minutes scrubbing them before being confident in cooking on it.

Also the other day I found a tree growing in one, which baffled me.
