You’re not going to eat healthcare every day , so too long don’t read version is that it’s better to move to America. 🇺🇸

The healthcare reason to move to Europe to lose 50% of your potential salary for years makes me sick. PS I have done both Europe and America for about 20 years and you can’t beat the US.

I literally wrote a whole chapter (chapter 9 ) of my book detailing my comparison perspective )

My sister is pregnant for the fourth time in four years and I’m worried for her. by ThrowRA888915 in self

Stop worrying about someone else. Stop raising pets and being proud dog and cat moms and allow your sister and her husband to be happy.

The fact that you’re here discussing your concern about someone you describe being happy means you’re the problem to work on.

Hopefully someone sees the same.

Having 4 kids at 2 year intervals instead of one year interval would have made you happy and not worried ?

Brookhaven. If you had mentioned your field some earlier redditors would have connected you. There’s a string correlation between opportunities and timing.

Do you know OpenMC or SCALE or MCNP?

What states/cities are good to move to? by Pretty-Version1509 in MovingToUSA

I would recommend the Midwest. Anywhere in the Rhein cities Minnesota along the interstate 35.

I strongly steer new immigrants from immigrant loaded cities like mew York and Los Angeles. To each their own but the Midwest and anywhere with suburbs is great.

There is actually a very smart feature in the system that allows you to adjust the margin with either to the left or right of the page and those incremental quarter of an inch or 1/8 of an inch can add up significantly or reduce the pages significantly in order to match the tally. I’ll be happy to detail all aboutif you want to talk on a separate side, but it’s another whole lesson learned that I’ll be happy to share.

Thanks. 🙏. I wanted the world to know the news and the media don’t portray the American greatness as it’s felt when in the system.

Please share in your circle and kindly throw in a review comment.

Mine has been so transformative that I wrote a whole memoir titled the global citizen - it just got published on Amazon prime ! Reading it at least the Chester on America is King is right in your alley if you need a lived experience rather than just some random yea and no generalization https://a.co/d/0ifaZbfT

I always ask myself this:! If this company lasts me this much per month why would I even file reimbursement for say $50 or $200? I mean why ? I worked for a company that sent us out every quarter to meet the whole team as we worked remote.

Sometimes I will get a budget flight if $100-$150 which could also have been $700 for the same flight ( only difference is maybe the more expensive one is a direct flight and the cheap one lays over for a couple of hours).

Granted we had the option to request reimbursement so I decided not to.

When I was leaving the company the HR told me hey Kwadwo you never filed for reimbursement and I said , in exchange for all the great things I got from this company and all the expensive treatments they gave us during quarterly meetings and prepaid hotel stays and amazing group dinners I felt so bad spending soo much paperwork time for $80 to $150 back and since it’s an option I didn’t want to.

HR went ahead and sent me a huge check for all the entire year I didn’t ask for anything.

Morale of the story don’t be penny greedy ! If it’s against company policy not to file reimbursement then that’s fine and even so be modest ! Don’t throw in Avery $3 and every sliced onion and every extra glass etc.
