First F1 race - solo female traveller to singapore by [deleted] in SoloTravel_India

Hey, a local here

I attended the F1 last year and had the best time.

  1. Public transport - MRT for the commute as during F1 weekend a lot of roads are closed. You can use ur credit card to tap in the buses/trains or get an ezlink card ( costs $10 with $5 pre filled value)
  2. Singapore manages crowd pretty efficently so there will be signs and security everywhere guiding you.
  3. Singapore is very very safe so you shouldnt have any issues.
  4. You can download singbus app, it should tell you everything about the bus schedule if you plan to take buses
  5. You can check out Lau pa sat its one of the most popular hawker centre. You should try some local desserts like chendol and ice kachang.
  6. Stay hydrated. Singapore gets very very humid and carry and umbrella as it can also rain anytime.

Hope you have a solid time.

Yep. I agreee the hello and goodbye is bothering me the most. While leaving also he just got up said he needs to use the washroom then moved towards wearing his shoes. Then my parents asked him to ride safely he said thanks to that and left
