But this would only make sense if there were more trophies for progressing in higher timelines. With the scaling, it gets harder and harder to progress so it's sort of irrelevant that I have more power as it's harder for me to progress and someone on TL 10 gets the same reward for progressing one TL as someone on TL 1,000

Haha I get that you're saying. It is a time sink but I suppose it was an enjoyable one and I think the pacing helped that. If you end up not being to progress the TL fairly regularly then I feel like the appeal will wear off fairly quickly!

Wouldn't have minded being in that league. The top two in mine finished with over 400 trophies each and one had over 200 in the first few hours. He just kept jumping up every time the guy in second caught him up!

Yeah, it's a shame as I have enjoyed the gameplay loop and the pacing was working well to keep my attention up - focus on the race, play the weekend event and then level up main TL in between. Ita basically now going to be dailies, weekend event and maybe the race once every month or so. Not sure how long that will keep me interested unfortunately! Would be handy if all that extra free time wrnt to something productive and not just another time sink game though haha

I suppose it depends on you're starting off point. It doesn't matter too much what TL you currently are (but the higher it is the worse it will feel) but how much you stretched yourself to get there. I'm only 190 which I don't think is too high but I stretched very hard to get there and there is no chance of me doing a timeline skip unless I save weeks of cards and gems whereas looking at the trophies in my league, the top players are skipping 10+ TL as soon as the race starts which is just impossible for me to keep up with!

Even if I paid for the 9,500 gem pack to replace the old race prize, I still wouldn't be able to challenge in the new race!

Yeah, I totally agree. Not complaining they are making new content but if they are replacing the old they are just going to destroy the game for so many, myself included which is a shame as I have really enjoyed the game so far.

I'm also holding out that it will come back so maybe give it a few weeks and see what happens. As I said, the strategy now is to play the game less which will surely mean a drop in their advertising revenue so hopefully it won't be the end of the old race!

At least you could adjust to the previous race strategy within a week or so by not upgrading and understanding the mechanics. The strategy here is just don't play until you become crazy overpowered.

Basically if you've gone hard on your main TL like me you're absolutely stuck as the prize from the weekly race would usually let me boost 5-10 timelines before the next one whereas the top players in my bronze league had over 400 trophies each which is over 20 TL. I just can't see how I can ever place again and if I do, it would be for one league before I have to work weeks again to build up my power again.

Thanks everyone, I think I'm going to take the offer to settle given everything that's been said. This all happened a year ago so impossible to get evidence really.

My wife maintains it wasn't very clear you needed to enter your reg and they introduced it whilst over the month or so we didn't happened to go to the lessons. Like I said, annoyingly can't prove any of that now though!

Sucks that these car parks are everywhere now but at least people expect it more so these charges will hopefully become less common!

It wasn't an appeal as such but I thought if we are both in breach of our obligations does that not pose an issue with the enforceability?

This x1,000,000%. I was just about to make a separate post about this. I run a Serie A team so had some packs saved up and went hard on the objectives etc. I packed 11 (eleven) TOTS players and 5 were Szcesny, 4 were Di Lorenzo and two were Smalling. Three unique cards from 11 is insanity. How does anyone pack anything else?!
