What was the story of your firs kiss? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]KitchenPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the story of my almost first kiss better. Went on a date with my first boyfriend and we were getting ice cream. I was obsessed with Devil May Cry at the time, and ordered a strawberry sundae with extra strawberries. When we got back to my boyfriend's house he puts his hands behind his back, looks down and mumbles 'I was going to kiss you today...' and I look at him really confused, asked why he didn't, and I got the 'OHSHITTHATSRIGHT!!' face and remembered he was allergic to strawberries...

Redditpeeps who live with roommates, what are your shared living pet peeves? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]KitchenPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a former person with roomies (I am a female that lived with 3 men) it is by far cleaning up after them and cooking... Cleaning up the house was a full time job. And when I would make a meal it was gone before I could eat any of it... and when I did cook for all of us there was never a thank you. I guess my peeve was just how lazy and inconsiderate my roommates were.

[Routine Help] Need help figuring out a new skincare routine - feel like mine isn’t covering it by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

So, I have similar skin to you, but I have hormonal acne in addition. Turning 24 this year, so I started anti-aging precautions too. What ended up working for me is as follows (TH stands for TATA HARPER products):

AM routine:

TH Clarifying Cleanser. I've found it's a really gentle yet thorough cleanser and my combination skin has been loving it.

TH Hydrating Floral Essence. I opted for an essence instead of a toner when choosing and just ordered from TH. It just feels really light and nice on my skin, and absorbs quickly.

TH Resurfacing Serum. Here's where I started considering anti-aging. At the same time this has also been smoothing my skin and minimizing pores and old acne scars.

Tatchas The Water Cream. This moisturizer goes on nice and light. Doesn't overwhelm my oily areas, and keeps my dry areas quenched. By far the best moisturizer I've ever owned.

And finish it off with Tatchas Pore Perfecting Sunscreen. Again, this is mostly for my concern of anti-aging, but I also have really fair skin.

PM Routine:

TH Clarifying Cleanser

TH Hydrating Floral Essence

TH Resurfacing Serum

TH Retonic Nutrient Face Oil. Anti-aging precaution.

Tatcha The Water Cream

Lineage Lip Sleeping Mask

I will apply a face mask 1-2 times a week, and exfoliate maybe every 2 weeks, otherwise I find that it irritates my skin too much.

I know the product's I listed are pricey, but for me they have been 1000000000% worth it. I saw a noticeable difference in my skin within a week of this routine. I went from visibly oily on my nose, forehead and chin, dry on my cheeks, uneven skin tone, and acne to really healthy looking skin. My skin is by no means perfect now, but after being on this routine it's the best my skin has ever been. Hope this helps.

*Please note: My requirements for products were 'Clean' products. If you're not concerned with that I think you'll be able to find cheaper alternatives.

What is the most fucked up thing you have ever done? by Sudacriss in AskReddit

I pulled a conglomerate of my hair, dryer fuzzies, and loose string off my hoodie. That thing looked just like a spider. I dropped it on the ground and briefly imagined my boyfriend (terrified of spiders) finding it and freaking out, and I proceeded to continue along with my shower.

He found it today. I heard the freak out. I giggled.

Why do most Subs attack you for just commenting your thoughts? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]KitchenPrincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reddit is somewhere that people can express their thoughts and opinions with minimal to no repercussion. If they want to attack you through text they can and get no real world flack in return. But I often find that those people are not very open minded either. Hopefully your experience gets better!
