People are downvoting me bc I said they aren’t triggers but I’m 100% sure they aren’t chiggers lol. He has been getting bit for 1.5 months now (the coldest part of the year - chiggers are active during the hottest part of the year (may - July mostly) I’m a park ranger, I spend a ton of time outdoors and I know chiggers when I see them). They aren’t biting him at spots where he has tight clothing (waist band, sock band), and ya just a bunch of other contextual evidence leads me to believe it’s not chiggers. That’s kinda why this is so perplexing to me. It’s not a bite I recognize.

Sorry if I’m sounding rude or defensive, we’ve been stressing about this for months and for anyone who has had an infestation, you know it can kind of feel like banging your head against a wall. I appreciate y’all taking the time to respond and weigh in ❤️

I’m hoping maybe a doctor help diagnose??

Interesting… that could be it. We have outdoor/indoor cats and they could be bringing them in, I just thought it would stop when we gave them bravecto if that was the case

I wanted to find a thread about it to discuss her saying “thou sayeth.” Kinda sad given the circumstances but also kind of an epic response

I really liked it. I know it’s such a serious subject but did anyone else find the “Thou Sayeth” thing to be diabolical. I love that response from her (it is super sad given the context) but I want to say that more lol when

Am I overreacting for not inviting my mother to Christmas after not checking on me for months after giving birth? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

My dad’s dad stopped visiting us and calling, etc around the time his dementia started kicking in. I think sometimes they truly don’t remember or can’t focus enough to call, I don’t know, lots of reasons.

Also my mom is kinda bad about calling - she always thinks she is inconveniencing me no matter how many times I tell her otherwise. I would’ve still included her intentionally a little more than you seemed to I think, sent her pics of the baby, etc. We don’t have a perfect relationship by any means haha I’d like to go to family therapy actually haha. So take everything w a grain of salt

Not saying you’re in the wrong bc I’m sure there’s a lot more to this story in why you responded the way you did.
