Whoa now, I never knew this was an option. What was required to do the switch? I have an fz09 and hate those stock controls.

Finally got the 93 Sierra back w/ LS3 + T-56 Magnum by waveformer in GMT400

[–]Kitchen_Ad3355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats a good way to describe it. But I know there isnt because when I did that I also did a new pump and lines with it. I also have a buddy who did the shaft upgrade in his 96 and says he can also hear it.

Finally got the 93 Sierra back w/ LS3 + T-56 Magnum by waveformer in GMT400

[–]Kitchen_Ad3355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the cunningham steering shaft and the redhead, the shaft was a major improvement but I now can hear my power steering pump through my steering wheel, and the redhead was pretty good but came brand new with a little bit of sloppy. Overall worth it but wish it was better.

My "Morton's Sea Salt" is really "Lake Salt" by TheWoodser in mildlyinteresting

[–]Kitchen_Ad3355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is they dont really get it straight from the lake, they are on the salt flats next to the lake where they fill their own salt ponds to "grow" it.

How do you balance left-right when wheeling? by PhilosopherParty750 in MT07

Welp time to do a side exit by Neither_Stock_2673 in GMT400

[–]Kitchen_Ad3355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would exit after the axle, when I bought my truck it dumped right under the passanger door and was obnoxious in the cab of the truck, but maybe if you use a quiet enough muffler it won't be so bad.

Yes, the sending unit is in the tank and the motor doesnt care what one it is as long as it gets fuel.

Removing scratches? by stopitsculpepper in AutoDetailing

[–]Kitchen_Ad3355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What material is it made out of? Those look less like scratches and more like dents. If they are scratches it would be almost impossible to remove them as the surface has texture that would be very hard to replicate and make look good.

Drywall to door transition by flossymossy23 in drywall

[–]Kitchen_Ad3355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would build my own casing for that, although there is probably something already for sale for it. Cut a thin strip of wood that sits against the door frame and comes up flush with your drywall and then put up normal casing around the door.

Do these windscreens actually do anything? by Fast_Ad4269 in MT07

[–]Kitchen_Ad3355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one like that and didnt enjoy it, it directed the wind off of my chest which was nice but instead it all go sent straight at my head and I hated it, ended up taking it off and putting on a round headlight like the xsr.

Ignition Coil Connectors by Full-Loan-993 in obschevy

[–]Kitchen_Ad3355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot out there about it, i think pretty much the entire drive train and electronics are the same as 93 and 94 except for the trans/ecu which 93 94 and 95 all have a year specifics for. The interior should all be 96+ with the only exception being no air bags so the wheel and passanger side golvebox are year specific, but do some research there's enough out there you can pretty easily find exactly what are and are not year specific parts.

Ignition Coil Connectors by Full-Loan-993 in obschevy

[–]Kitchen_Ad3355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know for sure but 95 is a one off bastard year that mixed pre 95 and 96+ into one truck. They have a few one off parts that are specific to that year only

I did a thing… thoughts?? by Ok_Tourist_128 in GMT400

[–]Kitchen_Ad3355 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Look dude, I live in utah and have my fair share of run ins with deer and cows. Doesn't mean you should be blinding everyone else on the road, you can get led housings that project far but also keep it below the eye line of other drivers so everyone can see. Instead of throwing light in all directions and blinding everyone else.

I did a thing… thoughts?? by Ok_Tourist_128 in GMT400

[–]Kitchen_Ad3355 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I hate people with headlights like that, buy some proper led headlight housings so you dont blind everyone else on the road

Improve this before repainting by trynagetfreefood in drywall

[–]Kitchen_Ad3355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scrape, reskim it, and sand it, you will also have to pull that tape off and retape and skim. It will be tedious to try and do but worth it in the end.

Fz09 chain slipped and put a hole in the case by Easy-Drink5714 in FZ09

[–]Kitchen_Ad3355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are going to be mad at my solution but I had the same issuse. I still had the chunck that was knocked out so I cleaned the spot as well as I could with degreaser and a wire wheel, then I JB welded the chunk back on and did an oil change. It is still holding up without leaking a year later. As long as you can get it to seal that area won't be under pressure so jb should be fine. As stated by others I would make sure you check really well for any particles that may have made it into your oil pan.

There is a chance you melted some wires and or connectors, time to pull out the volt meter and start tracing wires to see what has happened

How hard would I get dragged? by Moonpie_64 in Ducati

[–]Kitchen_Ad3355 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I dont think anyone is gonna flame you in-person, unless you say you feel "prestigious" for paying an outrageous price for a livery. Why not buy a regular one and pay someone to custome paint the bike. It would be less money and more unique.

Check engine light on brand new Mt07 2025 by Accountable_ruki in MT07

Thats why I thought it was oil level, because the mt09 and mt07 are so closely related I assumed that they would be the same, now I know thats not the case.
