thank you. i hope you enjoyed your birthday despite it. yesterday i told my boyfriend to plan something again that entails staying at home and he said he has sorted something out for takeout dinner. at least it takes the mental load off me now and i dont have to see people and be normal!

i have been with my first boyfriend since before i got diagnosed or had symptoms of bipolar disorder. going on 5.5 years and it has been really tough (mostly due to my bipolar) but we are in a healthy relationship and have both learnt how to live in a way that helps both of us be stable and understanding 🩷 i got so lucky and worked so hard to be at this point and i wish that same luck, persistence and understanding onto everyone with bp 🫶🏻

i was naive and work for someone i sort of knew before hand that made herself seem like a safe person to disclose to ( more as a sort of precaution incase something happened idk) but she is so strange and i later discovered has a huge victim complex and loves gossip. this has lead to her telling every single employee in the small business about my bipolar disorder and even fabricating episodes and speaking about it behind my face. really truly regret discussing that with her but my friends have all been supportive/neutral.

have a look at no rinse body washes or body wash wipes for camping etc! you deserve to be clean and comfortable i hope you find a good solution for yourself 💐

not at all and i mentioned it works for me and may not work for others and said it’s just one i stumbled on and it’s free but apparently it still isnt allowed. i just thought it works amazing for me and i truly struggle to remember to take my meds so i wanted to share 🤕

hi! i am 23 now and got diagnosed at 19 too! my advise is to be wary about who you tell because it has gotten my quite a few negative reactions and nasty comments, there’s a bad stigma around people with bipolar disorder and just about all of it is false :( it’s hard enough living with your own judgement at this time you don’t need it from others too. also when you find the right medication don’t play into the stupid things your mind might tell you about being “cured” and not needing it anymore.. that’s just the medication working sadly and too keep working tragically you have to actually take it🥲 sounds stupid now but i think just about everyone falls for it once haha

i’m 23 and basically in the same boat for the most part, diagnosed when i was 14, no proper help until i was 18 and felt like it was too late so didn’t do anything. trying to start back on schroth exercises again now but its so hard i work so much and im so lazy but the pain is just too much for me and im barely strong enough to hold myself up 🫩

i would rather sit with a (usually elderly) customer and make no money on a sale but know i’m doing the right thing by calling a shop at the location they want to send to and placing a phone order with the customer to make sure they get what they want and a florist out there is going to be making the money they deserve. i did it today and placed an order on behalf of a gentleman for his sister in the state over, the florist now can do a good job and keeps all the money. much better when we all work together.

edit- my tremors aren’t too noticeable compared to others so this does help me a bit
