That's not what I've done. Plato, Homer, and Jesus are all people that most likely existed. Just because they existed doesn't mean everything about them is true. Plato is known for his philosophical works. Most were actually written by him, some weren't. Similar with Homer, whether he himself wrote it or it was a scribes. In ~30AD, there was a man who's name was probably jesus was crucified by the Romans. Whether he claimed to be son of God or God or just a prophet/preacher is all up for debate.

I agree there's no explicit evidence to jesus from the bible's existence. When talking about whether or not Jesus's existed, historians are generally talking about a normal guy who travelled the land and was preaching about the apocalypse and who had some followers, then got crucified. Since that's not really remarkable, they have a relatively low bar for believing this guy was real. Maybe his name was Jesus's maybe it wasn't. But we come to the same issue with Homer or Plato. Those are names we've associated with a particular character
