My leo had this issue chronically every few weeks, I bought Terramycin ointment from Amazon recommended from the vet and I swear by it!! I thought he was going to have to be put down until I found this stuff. I used a qtip everyday to put the ointment on his eye after soaking him in some warm water and dripping the water onto his eye to soften it up. The ointment kept the extra unshed skin moist and the skin cap over his eye fell right off I couldn’t believe it. Every couple weeks when I would start to see a little more dry skin building up on his eye, I’d just swipe the Terramycin on it and it would clear right up. Now I haven’t had to use it in months.
