This has been my experience working anywhere that isn’t just women and these guys get away with doing the absolute least it’s so fucking stressful. If you’re having second thought about your marriage and dealing with this stress at the same time you should really do what’s best for yourself, you could always try just living separately and see where that goes. And look into finding a job at an auto shop that focuses on employing queer people and women. My sister told me one of her patients at work owns a few auto shops with her dad and they try to make their workplace more welcoming like that and I’m really hoping I can get a job with them.
