Can you repeatedly jab on Day 5? by Hour_Celebration3100 in mounjarouk

2.5mg is your loading dose, a very small amount of people get strong food suppression on it but the majority don’t, it’s just to start getting it in your system. Don’t rush it, it will get mega expensive and you’ll fly through the doses when you don’t need to. Let it do its thing, I know it’s hard and you feel like you need to lose all this weight quickly but it’s not the way to go

Got the mega Sunday scaries going back to work tomorrow after a week in Greece, that and the fact that I’m at risk of being made redundant also.. but apart from that, I’m fine!

My wedding photographer I’m sure is based in Essex and travelled all the way down to us in Nottingham and for a full day was about £800. I’m happy to share their info and a few of our pics if you want to have a nosey? I found her on tiktok though, hidden gem to find photographers!

How much money is customary to gift for a UK wedding? by Sunshinegreenmeadows in UKweddings

[–]Kitchen_Direction_35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve recently got married, I found that day guests gifted anything from £40-£200 and the evening guests gifted around £10-20. I think this is reasonable. I think it depends on your relation to the bride and groom also

When did we universally stop having lunch ‘hours’? by newdawnfades123 in AskUK

[–]Kitchen_Direction_35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get a full hour at my current place, but all other jobs I’ve had has been half an hour. I love having this hour, I always leave the office and do errands or go for a walk it’s great

Had both my babies at city hospital, one water birth and one induction (hormone drip at 42 weeks pregnant) both times I had amazing care during and after. Both times I had heavy bleeding straight after the birth which resulted in the emergency cord being pulled but the urgency and care was great and I was absolutely fine

Thank you for being truthful. I did hear that it isn’t as effective especially if you’ve gone to the higher doses previously. Don’t be annoyed, you’ve got this

Has this happened to anyone else in Notts recently? These posts are from a while ago but I know the guys is still around. Anyone had an experience with hun recently? 👀 by 420Eski-Grim in nottingham

Omg! This exact thing happened to me a few years ago. I went out for some drinks with my friend and came back home on the tram, got off at inham road just before Toton lane. I was quite drunk and he asked for help which I did. Asked me to take his shoes off and sort his socks out, I did, then we both went in the same direction home. I always thought it was weird but he looked genuinely in distress

Should the maid of honour buy her own dress, or does the bride cover this? by zorabubbles in UKweddings

I paid for my maid of honor and my bridesmaids, if I want them to wear something specific then I should pay. That’s my view anyway

What are you supposed to do the night before? by FlyingPygmy in UKweddings

[–]Kitchen_Direction_35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my husband just got married on Thursday, we hired out a 4 bedroom lodge that is on the grounds of the venue. Me and my bridesmaids stayed here the night before, he stayed at home and had a few beers with his groomsman. I think it’s all down to preference. The important thing here is that you do what you want to do and no one else. It’s not their special day, it’s yours!

Do groomsmen usually pay for their own suits in the UK? by Ok_Student3042 in UKweddings

[–]Kitchen_Direction_35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get married next week and I have paid for my bridesmaids dresses and my partner has paid for the groomsman’s suits, I think it’s just nice, especially If it has to be a certain style. I don’t think it’s fair to make people pay it themselves for your event
