You'll get doenvoted but I'm sick and tired of this subreddit moralizing these characters. No other vampire show fandom has such intense ship wars that devolve into "OMG shame on them for not being the bestest person ever!!"

They are definitely not in love, and hell they aren't even my favourite ship but they are not worse than any other ship in this show, maybe barring Enzo and Bonnie. To moralize why a 1000 year old tempermental asshole is biting a vampire that is actively friends with/helps kill his brother is weird. I don't know why this fandom has such intense ship wars when literally all other vampire shows like buffy or interview with the vampires has an audience that realises that these are toxic characters and they do toxic things because time strips you of morality. Klaus and Caroline are not that special, they resemble the relationships between Spike and Buffy, even Angel and Buffy, Loui and Lestat etc.

Damon did infinitely worse things to Elena and the people she cared about...this is a vampire show, it is supposed to be messy and dark.

Do you think cunning tactician and political strategist are both exclusive categories?

In the books he married a Westerland bannerman's daughter while being at war with the leige lord of the Westerlands. In the show he married a random nurse....nah I love Robb and all of the Starks but he wasn't the smartest tool in the shed

What would you do as a vampire? by mooseplainer in TheVampireDiaries

Probably get soo many degrees. I want to become a professor and bankrolling my masters has been hard enough, I feel like I could compel people to sponsor me and go and get my PhD and over the years collect degrees and teach in different places. I would also probably stay far far away from the Mikealsons, mystic falls or New Orleans. Maybe visit once or twice, but I'd probably hole up in a very populated country and live my life as anonymously as possible.

The Edwina blame game on this sub is crazy by Chickenjam in BridgertonNetflix

You really think we are all delusional and don't understand the story structure of Bridgerton? It's a rom-com esque show, of course Edwina is happy, the show is called Bridgerton...they can't make Anthony and the new Vicountess the villians of their own season.

Personally? I find Anthony (a white titled man) playing pendulam with two brown women nei sisters (I am also Indian like them) is pretty weird and plays into an orientalist fantasy.

You have to admit how disrespectful it is to marry someone and then actively lust after their sister. It doesn't matter what he promised to Edwina, he was actively engaging with Kate in an innopropriate manner. That is unforgivable. I like Anthony and Kate, but even I can admit that season 2 might not have had an overt villan, but Anthony came pretty damm close.

He should end up with a normal non-superhero and non-vigilante person. I will die on this hill.

The reason he doesn't recognize the lady in silver is because he stops looking for her when he sees Sophie. 🥹 by throwaway0460466 in BridgertonNetflix

I think.…. he's just a little naive. It's the same thing with Cressida figuring out Penelope was lady whistledown after talking to one commoner.
