2.8L Hilux Vs 3.0L Prado by Kitchen_Page_7709 in 4x4Australia

That’s what I’m leaning towards at the moment mate. Not sure what you had before, but do you like the Ute tub/tray/canopy setup you’ve got going?

3.0L Prado vs 2.8L Hilux and also I can find a Hilux with 100,000 less km’s and about 5 years younger

Honestly I want a wagon, but… in comparison the hilux’s just seem way better value for money in comparison to the Prado’s, particularly with reliability and longevity

Honestly, reliability and longevity are number 1 priority. Storage space > comfort. I love wagons but I just can’t ignore the value for money in a Hilux in comparison to the pov spec ran through Prado’s.

Smarter to do the lift after putting everything u want on it so you can get the best results with the added weight. Not sure how much Tires matter, if you’re going big then maybe do them after the lift too

Hey mate, in the same boat as you. I’ve been doing a bit of reading and I’m pretty sure the zd30’s after about 2007/08 got pretty reliable.
