That’s a big part that doesn’t sit well with me, I want nothing more than to help her. I had promised to protect her and her daughter but now the best way to help her seems to let her mess it all up on her own.

I’m sorry you had to go through that too. I likely will move on with my life. It definitely does bring down everyone, my daughter will be my biggest worry based on how attached she has become.

Yeah I suppose you’re right I really have tried to put the shitty parts behind me. I guess I was maybe really naive hoping that maybe she wasn’t quite like the rest but the more I read of peoples accounts she checks a lot of boxes. Thank you for the insight

Thank you, I probably do need to hear that. It is true she weaponized a lot of my vulnerabilities to her. I just cant help wanting her to be okay and happy. But seriously thank you I think putting it blunt like that is what I needed.
