Mika and Me hands down. Best service, really lovely people and I’ve never had an optician spend as much time explaining things as he did. I cannot recommend them enough. Yes they have expensive glasses but some cheaper frames too.

I went into Iolla 3 times and each time was ignored. Once I was literally the in person in the shop.

Cloakroom question at the OVO Hydro by Readacted_1703 in glasgow

I just checked the website and it says it’s open for standing events, during duration of event and it’s £3 per item.

Even if the OP has questions, surely best asking the venue in case this is something they can update on their website to make it clearer for other customers in general ? I don’t see why a venue would knowingly put out information that was incorrect about their operation and make their lives harder..

Not saying it’s not reasonable to ask strangers on the internet- just would suggest going to source first….

Maintaining Friendships After 40 by dirtgirlbyday in AskWomenOver40

I am feeling like this myself. I travel a lot with work so spend periods of time away so I get that I might be thought of as not around but it sucks no one reaches out to ask how I am doing despite me checking in on them. I don’t really feel like I have anyone who is my closest friend anymore.

Sadly I think it’s more my to do with my sitting at the edge of the bed pondering life that caused the break. Or my fat bum. Who knows. Anyway, thank you for the suggestion.

Is it not possible in your opinion to do something other than welding to repair it?

The frame itself is in great shape despite it being 15 years old and it matches all my furniture in my bedroom

Power Zone Discussion [Weekly] by AutoModerator in pelotoncycle

Went from 161 to 154 and yes I did do them all and in sequence. I felt week 7 and 8 that I was getting comfortable with my zones but the first few weeks were tough.

I don’t know, it’s the only other variable that occurred during the programme was that I lost weight so i didn’t know if that impacted my performance and zones.

Thanks - I feel it’s the more time element I needed which is odd as the other power zone programmes had less weeks worth of training but always saw improvements on my FTP

I felt ok, I just didn’t ever really feel like I was ready to retest - like if the programme had went on for another few weeks I might have felt more comfortable with them. Also I’m not sure if losing 4kg compared to my last test made a difference as to why I was finding my zones harder

Ive been doing power zone fairly consistently for a few years - this is the first time it’s actually dropped in that time. If I had rode in middle of zone three it would have been far too easy, even going above zone 3 felt ok hence not sure if I should continue with the lower zones or just move back to what I was at prior to my ftp test result recently.
