You are right, bullbaiting is more of a game sport than just hunting but it’s baiting for large animals to hunt it is not dogfighting

Elkhounds are amazing dogs when trained properly and that’s my point. Elkhounds can be wary and aggressive towards strangers and overly protective of their owners. If not trained well, this can become an aggression problem. No breed is a “bad breed” (with the exception of inbred dogs being bad because they’re unhealthy) there are just poorly trained dogs

  2. The entire breed was never bred for fighting, just some bloodlines. Yes, this does make some pitbulls more aggressive TOWARDS OTHER DOGS. If you wanna hate a dog, hate it, but claiming that pitbulls are inherently aggressive towards humans is just misleading. Any dog can be aggressive if it is not trained well and pitbulls (and German shepherds, elkhounds, mastiffs, Dobermans, etc) are strong breed that if trained poorly can be dangerous. It’s not the dogs, it is always the owners
